Renew (Week 1) Mind Renovation
Monday Jan 10, 2022
Monday Jan 10, 2022
On this episode Pastor Randy introduces a new series and the 2022 theme for Everyday Church -- Renew.
Romans 12:2 tells us to "renew our minds". One of the definitions for the word renew in this verse is "renovation or complete change for the better". We believe God is calling us to a complete renovation of the mind. To stop unconsciously allowing culture to determine how and what we think.
Implementation of this concept will, undoubtedly, be life changing. But it will not be easy. It's time to think about what we're thinking about. If you're up for the challenge, lets renovate (renew) our minds.

Happy New Year and Welcome back!
On this episode Luis Aran brings a very encouraging message about the finished work of Jesus on the cross. He reminds us that --
1) Jesus took away our sin
2) God removed His wrath from us
3) God renewed His relationship with us
4) We are free because payment has been made
5) The power of darkness has been defeated
If that's not a great way to start the new year, I don't know what is! Let's rest in 2022, knowing what Jesus did for us.

Make Room (Week 9) Worship #3
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
On this episode, Pastor Randy continues the topic of making room for worship. No matter where you are in your walk with God, there will come a time when you have to choose to worship (or not) even though your circumstances don't warrant your praise.
Those moments seem foolish to outsiders, but worship in those moments will cause the presence of God to come into your situation. He will then either change the circumstance or He will change you.

Make Room (Week 8) Worship #2 (Yadah)
Thursday Dec 02, 2021
Thursday Dec 02, 2021
There are seven primary Hebrew words translated as "praise" in the English Bible. Just as we often use the word "love" in many facets. We love our family, love sports, or love Chick-fil-a. Even though we use the same word, the meaning isn't exactly the same.
Similarly, when we read the word "praise" in Scripture the actual meaning might be deeper than our English understanding of the word.
On today's episode Pastor Randy takes us a bit deeper to understand two of the seven most used words for praise.
You'll be encouraged to worship and praise like never before, understanding that when we lift our hands, it's more than just an act of spiritual surrender, it's an act of war (on the enemy).

Make Room (Week 7) Worship
Tuesday Nov 23, 2021
Tuesday Nov 23, 2021
The modern church has unintentionally diminished the meaning of the word 'worship'. The term 'praise and worship' has become synonymous with music. Praise = fast songs / worship = slow songs. But the apostle Paul tells a different story in the New Testament.
Romans 12:1 — Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
In essence, true worship is about living a life of sacrifice to God. While music certainly plays a very significant role in our worship and connection to God, we do ourselves a disservice when we only associate worship with music.
God is inviting us to a life of sacrifice. He wants our entire heart, soul, and mind, not just our musical preferences.

Tuesday Nov 16, 2021
"When we constantly focus on what we do not have, what we do have will never be enough."
On this episode Pastor Randy continues the conversation on gratitude. Are we missing all that God has for us by not living a life of gratitude? Luke 17:11-19

Did you know that gratitude has been scientifically proven to bring health benefits? #MindBlown
We're often surrounded by distractions and chaos. We're bombarded with constant reminders of all that we don't have. Focusing on these kinds of things will most defiantly push gratitude out of our lives.
On this episode Pastor Randy encourages us to make room for gratitude. And by doing so, we will reap benefits spiritually, emotionally, and even physically.

Make Room (Week 4) Make Room For Pain
Tuesday Nov 02, 2021
Tuesday Nov 02, 2021
Pain -- No one likes it, but what roll does it play in our lives? Like it or not, everyone will experience pain, grief, and loss in life. There's simply no way around it.
Is it possible we miss what God might be saying through our pain, because we're too busy trying to avoid it at all costs?
On this episode, Pastor Randy encourages us to listen for the voice of the Lord in the midst of our painful circumstances.

Make Room (Week 3) Digging Ditches
Tuesday Oct 26, 2021
Tuesday Oct 26, 2021
"Making room and preparation are acts of expectation." When you're expecting company, what do you do? When you're expecting a baby, what do you do? You prepare. You can tell if someone is truly expecting something by the way they prepare for it.
On this episode Pastor Randy encourages us to "dig ditches" as described in 2 Kings 3. In this passage, digging ditches was the preparation needed for the miracle that God had promised.
How many of us are missing out on the healing and freedom God has for us simply because we haven't prepared (dug ditches)?

Make Room (Week 2)
Wednesday Oct 20, 2021
Wednesday Oct 20, 2021
There are two battles in the war for freedom. One is the battle to get free, the other is the battle to stay free. Making room for the presence of God in our lives is only part of the equation. Once we've cleaned out all of the junk, and completely surrendered to Christ, we must fight to maintain that new found freedom.
Jesus tells us that when the seed (the Word of God) is sown, the birds of the air come immediately to steal the seed. Don't allow the enemy of your soul to steal what God has begun. Fight for your freedom. But never forget, we're fighting from a place of victory because Jesus already won the war on the cross.
